Parents' Zone
As a parent, you need to know that your kids are safe and happy during their time with us at Soccercamp.
Kids' packs:
Each of the kids gets a Soccercamp T-shirt and their own water bottle. We also provide shin-pads on the day if they are needed.
Footwear and clothing:
The pitches are laid with high quality turf, so studs or molds are both ideal. If the ground is firm and dry, then trainers and sneakers will also be fine. Please make sure that your child is appropriately dressed for a day of sports and fun in the warm Spanish sunshine. Also, please make sure that your child has an adequate supply of sun protection cream - please note that we are not permitted to provide any sun cream for the kids.!
Health and safety:
Our venues are safe and secure, and are not open to the general public. Main gates are locked to all vehicles. The facilities at our venues meet all Spanish health and hygiene standards as regulated by the Spanish government. Secure lockers in the changing area are also available upon request.
We are also linked to Helicopteros Sanitarios, the finest rapid response paramedic unit on the Costa del Sol. And of course our coaches are all First Aid qualified. A fully-equipped First Aid kit is also always available for minor injuries.
Our staff:
All our coaches are fully FA and/or UEFA qualified and have had relevant and up to date CRB screening. Most of the coaches also have additional fitness and sports science degrees and practical experience working with children on a regular basis. Some of our coaches are also multi-lingual.
Drinks and catering:
Soccercamp provides unlimited bottled mineral water throughout the day, with juices and soft drinks available to purchase from our café bar. Nutritious and healthy lunches are provided and are prepared fresh on the day.
Shaded areas:
We are mindful of the very warm temperatures in Spain and our programmes reflect this. For all age groups there is a water break every 15 minutes and the opportunity to cool down under one of our shaded areas. Since we started Soccercamp we have had no real incidents of heat exhaustion because we always take precautionary measures to ensure that the kids are well looked after and fully hydrated at all times.
Registration:
You can complete the booking form on line in advance or at check-in on the first day. We do insist on a completed application form which will provide us with important contact information as well as details of parents or guardians, and medical and dietary information too.
Insurance:
The venue is covered by indemnity insurance. However, we cannot be held responsible for the damage or loss of any personal items.
Incompatibility clause:
We reserve the right to exclude or to refuse any child at any time prior to or during a session, if in our opinion that child is incompatible with the general operation of the camp.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the loss of any personal and valuable items.
We will provide each of the kids with a tee shirt and water bottle but if either of these items are lost there will be a charge for replacements.
